Photos and edits
Depthly's AI models (depth estimation, subject detection, segmentation, styles) run locally on your iPhone using Apple's Core ML. Photos you open, the masks and depth maps Depthly computes, and every creation you save are stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. Depthly has no user accounts and embeds no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not collect, receive, or store any personal information, usage data, identifiers, or photos.
Photo library access
Depthly asks for photo library access solely so you can pick a photo to edit and save results back to your library. This access is governed by iOS permissions you can change at any time in Settings.
Purchases
Depthly Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Optional model downloads
Some optional features (edge-refine matting, neural styles) download their ML models on first use via Apple's On-Demand Resources. These downloads come from Apple's servers and contain no personal data in either direction.
Children
Depthly does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it collects no data at all.
Changes
If Depthly's privacy practices ever change, we will update this page and the app's App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
